ISTE Distinguished District Award
ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) recognizes a school system larger than one individual school that exhibits effectiveness and innovation in the application of technology.
This award has two focuses:
- Widespread implementation: The winner will ensure equitable and appropriate technology use for all students in the system, aimed at improving learner outcomes and increasing learning opportunities.
- Innovation: Progress in education, as in all endeavors of our society, depends on new ideas.
EdTech Digest - School Leader of the Year
Program that recognizes leaders in the field of educational technology that are pushing the limits and constantly innovating for the improvement of teaching and learning.
ITIP Ohio’s Outstanding Technology Using Administrator
Instructional Technology Integration Partnership (Ohio’s ISTE Affiliate) selects one administrator that has made a significant positive impact on teaching and learning by utilizing technology
ISTE Making It Happen Award
The Making IT Happen award honors outstanding educators and leaders who demonstrate extraordinary commitment, leadership, courage and persistence in improving digital learning opportunities for students. The spirit of the Making IT Happen award supports our vision of a world in which all learners thrive, achieve and contribute.
WOSU Distinguished District Award
WOSU Public Media wishes to recognize the most outstanding district in our community who demonstrates excellence and innovation in their educational practice.
Digital Schools District Survey - Top 10 Award Winner
National School Boards Association & The Center for Digital Education - This award recognizes exemplary use of technology by school boards and districts. Awarded to districts that most fully implement technology benchmarks in the evolution of digital education.

Districts of Distinction is a national recognition program to honor school districts that are leading the way with new ideas that work. District Administration magazine recognizes established initiatives that are yielding quantifiable benefits, and that could be replicated by other districts.

ISTE Learning Spaces Outstanding Learning Space Designer Award
- International Society for Technology in Education Personal Learning Network Awards (2019)
- This award recognizes an educator whose exemplary work provides a model for teaching, learning and leading in the digital age. In particular, we are looking to reward those pioneers who are changing their physical learning space to benefit student learning.
Schools of TechXcellence Award - HP & District Administrator Magazine
Recognition program that honors schools that have implemented innovative, effective and replicable programs using technology to contribute meaningfully to student, instructional or operational success.
Modern Teacher District of Distinction - Exemplar District
Pickerington Local Schools has been named a National Exemplar District in Digital Convergence, a designation awarded to school districts and educational organizations who reach Stage 3 or above in the Digital Convergence Framework. Through their work in Digital Convergence, Pickerington has created the Plan for Progress movement to lead the district to modern learning at scale.

Recognition program that honors schools that have implemented innovative, effective and replicable programs using technology to contribute meaningfully to student, instructional or operational success.
