This privacy policy explains how the Settle app ("Settle", "the app") handles your information. Settle is a debt tracker that helps you keep track of money you owe and money owed to you.
1. Information you enter in the app
Debts, names, amounts, payments, notes, due dates and settings that you enter are stored only on your device. Settle has no accounts and no servers, and we (Focus Lion) do not receive, collect or have access to this information.
If you use the backup or export features (where available), the file is created on your device and saved or shared only where you choose. Uninstalling the app deletes the data stored by the app on your device.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version of Settle shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share with Google:
Device and advertising identifiers (such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID)
IP address, which may be used to estimate your general (approximate) location
App interactions, such as app launches, taps and ad views
Diagnostic information, such as app performance and launch time
This data is used for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention, and is encrypted in transit. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device's settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device).
Users in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google's consent form and can change their choice at any time in Settle under Settings → Privacy options.

Settle Pro users do not see ads, and ads are not loaded for them.
3. Purchases (Settle Pro)
Settle Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Google Play. Payment details are handled entirely by Google; we never see or store your card or payment information. The app only checks with Google Play whether Pro has been purchased so it can unlock Pro features.
4. Permissions
Settle may request permissions only for its features, for example notifications (for due-date reminders) and biometrics (for app lock, if you turn it on). Biometric data never leaves your device and is handled by Android, not by Settle.
5. Children
Settle is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from children.
6. Data sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal information. Apart from the advertising data handled by Google AdMob described above, Settle does not share data with third parties.
7. Data deletion
Because your debt data is stored only on your device, you can delete it at any time by deleting entries in the app, clearing the app's data, or uninstalling the app. For advertising data, you can reset your advertising ID in your device settings or contact Google.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
