• Invited talk  on “Innovative Applications with Clathrate Hydrate as a Technology Enabler” by Prof. Praveen Linga, NUS Singapore on 5th July 2024, 4:00 PM organized at SEST Seminar Hall by Hyderabad Chapter of the Indian National Academy of Engineering & UoH - Student Chapter of The Indian Institute of Metals.

• Workshop on Zeta Potential and Particle Size Analyzer conducted at SEST, UoH during 10 June 2024

• From the academic year 2024-2025 onwards, School will directly admit  GATE qualified students for MTech programs based on counselling at University of Hyderabad. School withdraws from centralized MTech counselling, CCMT.

• From  the academic year 2024-2025 onwards, School will offer I.M.Tech ( Integrated BTech+MTech) program in Materials Engineering. The admission will be through JEE-Mains and JoSAA counselling.

• 15th year of the School was celebrated with a two day program of Technical talks by alumni in the theme of Sustainable Approaches in Materials-, Manufacturing-, and Nano- Engineering and Alumni reunion on 9th and 10th March 2024

• 7th International Indentation Workshop (IIW7) conducted at SEST, UoH during 17-21 Dec 2023
