Adobe Stock hosts millions of assets across categories like photography, vector graphics, video footage, and design templates. When you license an asset, downloading it still requires several clicks through the Adobe Stock interface, and retrieving previously licensed files means digging through your license history page by page. There is no built-in way to grab multiple licensed assets at once or to automatically organize files as they land on your hard drive.
Adobe Stock Downloader is being built to sit inside the browser and interact with the Adobe Stock website directly. The goal is to recognize which assets on the current page you have already licensed, surface a download control on each one, and handle file retrieval in the background so you can keep browsing while your assets save locally.
One-click download of any licensed Adobe Stock asset visible on the page
Batch retrieval from your license history without opening each asset individually
Automatic file naming using the asset title, ID, and contributor metadata
Support for all Adobe Stock asset types including photos, vectors, videos, and templates
Resolution and format selection when multiple options are available for a licensed asset
Download queue that processes assets in the background while you continue browsing
Browser-native workflow that does not require Adobe Creative Cloud desktop apps
Cross-browser compatibility targeting Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Firefox
Install the extension once it is released from the browser extension store.
Navigate to Adobe Stock in your browser and sign in to your Adobe account.
Browse or search for assets as you normally would on the Adobe Stock site.
Licensed assets on the page will be detected and marked by the extension.
Click the download button on any licensed asset to save it immediately.
Open the extension popup to access your license history for batch downloads.
Select the resolution or format variant you prefer if the asset offers multiple options.
Files save to your designated local folder with metadata-based filenames.
Photos: JPEG, PNG, or TIFF depending on the licensed resolution and asset type
Vectors: AI, EPS, or SVG as provided by the original contributor upload
Videos: MOV or MP4 at the licensed resolution, typically up to 4K
Templates: PSD, AI, or INDD files depending on the template category
Downloaded files will match the formats Adobe Stock delivers for each asset type. No conversion is applied unless explicitly selected by the user.
