SERP Counter + Notes - Free SERP Tool for SEO
Last updated: 28.01.2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Chrome extension “SERP Counter + Notes - Free SERP Tool for SEO” (“the Extension”, “we”) collects, uses, and shares data when you use it.
The Extension enhances Google Search result pages by:
adding customizable numbering to search results; and
allowing you to create notes for websites (per specific URL and/or per domain) directly in the search results.
The Extension may handle the following user data, depending on how you use it:
Notes you write for a site (text you enter in the Extension UI).
The mapping you choose (note for a specific URL and/or for an entire domain).
Preferences related to numbering and display (for example: enabled/disabled, style, formatting, behavior).
URLs and/or domains of sites for which you create notes, and the Google Search results page context needed to attach notes to results.
Important: The Extension does not collect your Google account information, passwords, payment data, or personal identity data.
We use the data only to provide the Extension’s core functionality:
show numbering on Google Search results;
display your saved notes next to the relevant results;
store and restore your notes and settings between browser sessions.
Notes and settings are stored locally in your browser using Chrome extension storage (e.g., chrome.storage).
We do not require you to create an account to use the Extension.
We do not sell your data.
We do not share your notes, settings, or URL/domain note mappings with any third parties.
None.
The Extension does not load or execute remote code. All executable code is packaged within the Extension.
The Extension does not send your notes to external servers.
The Extension requires access to Google Search pages to:
add numbering elements into the page UI;
read the visible result URLs/domains so it can match and display your saved notes.
The Extension does not use host access to track you across unrelated websites.
Your notes and settings remain stored until you delete them via the Extension UI or remove the Extension.
Removing the Extension deletes its locally stored data (as handled by the browser). If you want to fully reset, remove and reinstall the Extension.
The Extension is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended to collect children’s personal data.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the Extension or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.
