We are a wellness studio combining yoga and meditation, as well as more upbeat fitness classes. A variety of yoga styles are practiced, including Kundalini, Hatha/Vinyasa, Restorative, and Power Yoga.
Serenity Yoga and Wellness is located in the space formerly occupied by Trudy's Barefoot Yoga Studio.

Description: This is a detox yoga class combining a variation of flow and twists and a variety of movements to invite and stimulate the process of detoxification in the body. Yoga provides many benefits to detox the body on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level. Many yoga postures increase blood circulation, stimulate the lymphatic system and help the liver work optimally to cleanse the body of toxic substances.

Description: Gentle yoga moves at a slow and steady pace and is appropriate for all levels of yoga.

Description: This is a Hatha/Vinyasa blend of yoga in a more moderately paced class. Techniques include using longer holds to build strength and invite challenge, as well as flowing movements for flexibility and suppleness. The class is held in a warmed room so your muscles are easier to manipulate as you move through your practice. Hatha and Vinyasa yoga links breath with movement to create a flowing meditation in movement. Modifications are given for beginner students and variations are offered for more advanced students.

Description: Kundalini Yoga incorporates movement, breathing techniques, meditation, and the use of mantras in order to balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purify the blood. All levels of yoga are welcome.

Description: This class is an open yoga session for all levels. Using a combination of gentle flows and guided meditations, it's the perfect way to relax after a long day. Gentle enough for beginners, the class also combines movement and meditation for advanced yogis for integrating body, breath, and mind for renewed energy in everyday life.

Description: This is an all level yoga class combining different styles of yoga suitable for beginners and advanced students. Modifications will be given for beginners and variations will be given for the advanced students.

Description: This class is a gentle to intermediate Vinyasa Flow with elements of restorative yoga included. This class is suitable for all levels and is a great way to relax after a long day!

Description: This is an open yoga class for all levels. It is a gentle flow and a combination of different styles of yoga suitable for the beginner student, as well as the advanced student. Modifications will be given for beginners and variations will be given for advanced students.

Description: This is a fast-paced fun class that is suitable for all levels. The movements involved in this class are designed to strengthen and sculpt your body with upbeat music and high energy movement. It is suitable for all levels of fitness because it is always go at your own pace. If you are a beginner searching for a place to get motivated and have some fun, this class provides guidance and motivation. If you are advanced in your fitness journey, you can pick up the pace, challenge yourself, and have some fun!

Description: Yoga Nidra is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. It is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness. The body is completely relaxed and the practitioner is verbally guided through a meditation. Everyone is welcome!

Description: This class is a high energy yoga class experienced underneath blacklights! We will have a light-hearted and fun yoga class and learn about the first limb of yoga, the Yamas! It is for all levels of yoga! You are invited to wear your brightest and whitest colors for the best glow experience!

Description: Meditation is an approach to training the mind to achieve a mentally clear, relaxed, and stable state. Sometimes mantras are used with meditation in order to keep the mind focused and present. A mantra is a syllable, word, or phrase that is repeated either silently in the mind or recited out loud.

Description: This is an open meditation class to come and share the space and energy and a chance to start your day feeling grounded and centered. This class is for everyone who would like to share in meditation. There will be a variety of guided meditations.

Description: Pranayama is the practice of controlling the breath, which is the source of our prana or vital life force. Pranayama practice is sometimes accompanied by mantras, which are words or sounds repeated to aid with concentration in meditation.

Description: This fitness class is a combination of using a mini trampoline for cardio and light weights for toning and firming. It is appropriate for all fitness levels. Go at your own pace and have some fun!
