Dear Colleagues,

The Spanish Society of Medicinal Chemistry (SEQT), member of the European Federation of Medicinal Chemistry (EFMC), and Enantia are organizing the VII SEQT Summer School “Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology in Drug Discovery: the Pharma Perspective” to be held on July 19-21 2022 in Barcelona, Spain.

On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to personally invite you to participate in the meeting, which will provide a forum for scientific discussions with the aim of approaching the pharma industry to young researchers, both graduate students and post-doctoral associates working in the chemistry and health sciences related fields. During three days, the participants will have the opportunity to learn about the latest research trends in pharmaceutical drug discovery and development.

In order to foster these discussions, all students will be required to participate in flash presentations (two-minute/1-slide presentation of poster highlights) and poster sessions. Among them, the panel of industry experts will select 5 students for a short oral communication during the final day of the school. Best oral communications would also be eligible to represent the SEQT as SEQT young researcher delegate at EFMC-Young Medicinal Chemists ́ Symposium (EFMC-YSMC 2022)

The scientific program will include several workshops covered by speakers from Almirall, Novartis, Janssen, Merck KGaA, FAES Farma, Enantia, GSK and Gate2Brain.
