SeptiQ — Septic Tank Monitor Last updated: March 13, 2026
1. Introduction
SeptiQ ("the App") is developed by an independent developer. Your privacy is important, and this policy explains what data the App handles and how.
SeptiQ does not collect any personal data. The App does not use analytics services, tracking tools, advertising SDKs, or any third-party data collection frameworks.
All data you enter into the App — including septic tank parameters, pumping history, service provider contacts, costs, and notification preferences — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and UserDefaults within an App Group container. No data is transmitted to external servers.
Your App data may be included in your device backups (iCloud Backup or local backups via Finder/iTunes). This is managed by Apple and is subject to Apple's privacy policy.
SeptiQ offers a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. The developer does not receive or store any payment information. All transaction data is managed by Apple and is subject to Apple's privacy policy.
The App uses local notifications (via Apple's UNUserNotificationCenter) to remind you about septic tank fill levels. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to any server.
SeptiQ does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or SDKs. The App operates fully offline.
The App is not directed at children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect data from children.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
