This Family Edition is for the caregivers and adults in our potential Scholars life (all adults invited)! We know that you have questions about how our program has changed and how being in our program is a benefit, even in the midst of a pandemic. We made some changes to adapt to the current times, but our mission still rings true. Join us for an evening to learn about the community of support you and your child will receive here at SEO.

Ladies, join Girl Talk! with SEO - a space for empowering our young ladies to learn about and stand-in their power. We'll have real conversations about your experiences and share tips for how to feel and be your best. There will be three sessions where we'll discuss female confidence, share best practices, and be each other's hype-women.

UDUGU means Brotherhood in Kiswahili. This series has been created to give young males who are interested in SEO a space to begin building community during the application process. There will be eight workshops where we will discuss topics such as Black & Latin pop culture, your personal impact on the world, and how we (as young men) navigate our current society.

Students, are you having trouble starting or finishing your SEO Scholars Application? Do you have questions about teacher recommendations, grades, or uploading documents? Come to our Application Workshop to receive individualized support from a team member.

Got an interview with SEO Scholars? Join us at the interview workshop to get some tips and practice interview skills! At SEO, we believe practice makes perfect, so we'll have opportunities for you to practice your response to interview questions and get feedback. This is a judgement-free zone, where practice and progress is the goal!
