Sun Jun Hwang

Sunjun Hwang is an undergraduate researcher at the RAISE Lab, Yonsei University. His academic and research interests are centered on cutting-edge areas within computer science and quantum technology. He is particularly focused on quantum computing, exploring the principles and applications of quantum systems to solve complex computational problems. Additionally, Sunjun is deeply engaged in the study of quantum algorithms, investigating innovative approaches to designing algorithms that leverage quantum mechanics for enhanced computational efficiency. His interest in quantum artificial intelligence reflects his pursuit of integrating quantum computing techniques with AI methodologies to develop advanced intelligent systems. Furthermore, he is involved in artificial intelligence security, focusing on safeguarding AI systems against vulnerabilities. A key aspect of his work includes studying adversarial attacks, where he examines techniques used to manipulate or compromise AI models, aiming to develop robust defenses to enhance the security of intelligent systems.

Hyo Jun Lee

Hyojun Lee received the B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Yonsei University in 2024.
He is currently pursuing an integrated M.S./Ph.D. program at the Reliable Artificial Intelligence and Computer Systems Laboratory (RAISE Lab), Yonsei University.
His research interests include micro-architectural side-channel attacks, compiler optimizations, and secure system design. In particular, his recent work focuses on detecting and mitigating micro-architectural leakages in modern processors, as well as developing compiler-level optimizations based on the MLIR framework to enhance both performance and security.
He is also interested in the intersection of computer architecture and artificial intelligence, exploring how emerging hardware designs can support secure and efficient AI workloads.

Hwi Soo so

Hwisoo So received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from Yonsei University, Seoul, Republic of Korea, in 2015 and 2023, respectively.
From 2023 to 2025, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Yonsei University and a Visiting Research Scholar at Arizona State University, where he worked on hardware reliability and resilient computing systems.
He is currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Kyungpook National University.
His research interests include the reliability and resilience of computing systems against hardware faults such as soft errors and permanent faults. His recent work focuses on software-level redundancy techniques for fault-tolerant systems, architecture-level vulnerability estimation, and system-level modeling of reliability under process and radiation-induced variations.
He is also interested in the co-design of hardware and software mechanisms to enhance the dependability of high-performance and safety-critical computing systems.

Won Cheol Ryu

Woncheol Ryu received the B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Yonsei University, Republic of Korea, in 2017, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Engineering from Yonsei University in 2019 and 2022, respectively.

He is currently the Head of the Development Department at DHsoft Inc., where he leads projects on large-scale software systems and enterprise platform solutions.

His research interests include software development methodologies, software process improvement, and platform-based system design. In particular, his recent work focuses on developing scalable and maintainable software architectures, integrating agile methodologies into industrial development pipelines, and designing reusable software frameworks that enhance productivity and reliability in enterprise environments.
He is also interested in bridging academic research and industrial practice through the application of modern software engineering techniques to real-world development challenges.

Young Kwang Nam

Youngkwang Nam received the B.S. degree in Mathematics from Yonsei University, Seoul, Republic of Korea, in 1982, the M.S. degree in Computer Science from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 1985, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, USA, in 1992.
From 1993 to 1994, he was a Senior Researcher at the Systems Engineering Research Institute, where he worked on large-scale information systems and early database architectures.
He joined Yonsei University in 1995, where he served as a Professor in the Division of Software until 2025, contributing extensively to both academic research and curriculum development in software engineering and programming languages. During his tenure, he supervised numerous graduate students, published papers in international journals and conferences, and led several national R&D projects in software infrastructure and intelligent information systems.
He is currently the CEO of DHsoft Inc., where he oversees research and development in advanced software platforms and digital transformation technologies.
His research interests include programming languages, software engineering, information retrieval, databases, XML technologies, and digital healthcare systems, with a particular emphasis on applying software engineering principles to real-world healthcare data management and intelligent service platforms.

Yo Han Ko

Yohan Ko is an Associate Professor in the Software Department at Yonsei University, where he has been serving since March 2021. He holds a Ph.D. (2018) and B.S. (2012) in Computer Science from Yonsei University. His research interests focus on embedded systems, hardware/software co-design, and system reliability. Dr. Ko has served as a reviewer for conferences like the International Conference on Hardware/Software Codesign and System Synthesis and journals such as IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics. He advises the startup club "Abroad.com" and has delivered invited talks on computing integrity and employment strategies. His accolades include the Bronze Best Paper Award (IEEE, 2016) and the NAVER Ph.D. Fellowship Award (2016).
