I am currently affiliated to the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy and in charge of the African region. The primary field of my research is development economics in the intersections of conflict, agriculture, health, and human capital development. My research aims to produce policy relevant outcomes based on the combination of theory and empirical analysis.
I obtained a Ph.D in Development Economics from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. I hold a Master degree in International Economics from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, and a Master degree in International Studies and a Bachelor degree in English Education from the Seoul National University. Prior to the PhD program, I had extensive professional work experiences in the IT sector and financial inclusion in Korea and Cameroon.
