Hey, I'm Harry.
I'm an SEO York Consultant and I'll help grow your business.
How?
By increasing the number of visitors to your site.
Resulting in more sales, revenue and leads.
On Page SEO. This is what your users see on your website. It includes the text, the videos and the images.
Off Page SEO. The more high quality backlinks you have, the better chance of ranking.
Technical SEO. This is ensuring your website is fast, can be crawled by Google and is set up correctly.
Without a structured well-thought SEO plan in place, it's most likely your website is going to result in ZERO organic traffic. The search engine results are a competitive place. And it's only getting more competitive out there.
Only 10% of all pages on the internet get any traffic whatsoever (lower still for those with meaningful traffic).
Is your website getting any 'targeted' traffic? Go ahead.
Google your niche or industry and location. How? For instance, are you a dentist in York? Search for "dentist york" Are you number one? Do you come up in top 3 on the map pack?
If not, your competitor is getting leads and you aren't.
Why are they above you?
It's simple.
Their site is better optimised for search engines.
What does this mean exactly? You can find out exactly why in the section below: What is SEO?
PPC is effective for short term goals. Do you need proof of concept? Great. Do you promote an upcoming event for the weekend? Awesome. Are you wanting to get results fast? Fantastic. These are all great reasons to be using PPC.
However, it's a pay to play game.
If you want something that's sustainable - a long term outlook - a structure in place. Then SEO is the game you want to be playing. It starts off slow, but provides real staying power well after you've stopped paying for it.
It's the backbone to any online business to get some sustainability and profit.
Searchers intuitively trust Google. In the same way you buy products with good reviews. You click on the first few results on the Google search, as they are likely to be the best.
As a result.
There's a trust there between the searcher and the results that come up. So if you are coming up number one. That means Google trusts you and since the user trusts Google...
...the user trusts you.
Meaning not only do you get 'more' traffic but you are likely to get better 'targeted' and 'qualified' traffic too.
Do you ever scroll past the Google Ads at the top of the search results? Yeah? Well, a lot of your potential prospects do too.
In fact it can be as low as just 6% of clicks for a keyword.
That said.
Paying your way to the top has it's place. However, it should be used effectively - alongside SEO to get the best results. So go ahead and get in touch with me here.

I'll send it across. See what you think. Then let's have a chat.
It's best to think of it in three parts and a bit like a race car.
Allow me to explain.
This is basically anything the user can see.
For a moment, think of this as your driver.
The better content and the more strategically targeted SEO-wise, the better the driver.
This is ensuring the site can be crawled by Google, the site is fast, there are no broken links etc.
Think of this as your car components such as the exhaust, suspension etc.
You want it technically running perfect.
This is backlinks (a backlink is simply one website linking to another), mentions and things outside the website.
For instance this is a backlink to my LinkedIn page.
This is your engine.
The more quality backlinks you have to your site, the more powerful your engine.
Now to win a race, you need all three components.
You need a good racing driver, a car that is technically sound and is packed with a quality engine to boot.
Completely fail in anyone of these areas?
And your car isn't going to get anywhere.
Put it this way.
You could have Lewis Hamilton driving your car (i.e really good on page content that helps users and is written to a high standard and is spot on from an SEO perspective) but if it's packed with a 50cc engine (i.e no backlinks) and a dodgy steering wheel (i.e the site has issues with getting crawled by Google), it's not going anywhere.
On the other hand, you could stick me in a Bugatti Veyron (a lot of high quality backlinks) - a complete novice to racing - which in this sense is a poor quality article written in broken English that doesn't make sense and isn't targeting an appropriate keyword.
And the result would be the same.
I'm going to end up losing.
Granted, it's a loose analogy.
But hopefully, you get the picture. You need all three components for a winning site.
That's often the struggle.
They can have a beautiful looking website with great content, however, the site isn't getting any organic traffic.
Why?
Because their engine sucks! They have no backlinks and a relatively poor off page performance.
Again.
You can have an ugly site with no content and backlinks from all the major newspapers in the UK. And still no traffic.
Because the On Page isn't up to scratch. You have a bad driver.
(I can provide more on request).
These are brand new websites in the local Yorkshire area.
Usually a brand new website takes a while to start getting organic traffic.
However, we have already seen fantastic progress within the space of a couple of months.
