Sensor Stick Project
Overview:
Current drone sensor arrangements are often varied and complex. Numerous sensors are required for drone flight and getting them to all work together can be tedious, this is where Project Dragonfly comes in. Project Dragonfly aims to relieve the headache that comes with these sensors by combining them with a microcontroller into a single peripheral device. From here the device can be plugged into a drone running Robot Operating System (ROS) where the data from all sensors creates a state estimation. In our case, the device is plugged into a ROS running device for a virtual visualization of the drone flight along with state estimation of its flight.
