Newport Inclusion team have set up a helpline for parents. It is manned by the Educational Psychologists and Teacher Advisor. It’s open 9-5pm (Monday to Friday) and the phone number is 01633 233696 or parents can email Inclusion.enquiries@newport.gov.uk and request support.

In Monmouthshire there is a parent help line provided by the Early Help Panel:
Monmouthshire Family Support Services - COVID-19 Advice Line is a temporary advice line for families Monday – Friday between the hours of 10am – 3pm. Telephone on 01633 644152 or 07970166975 and there is a WhatsApp group available. Or via email at EarlyHelpPanel@monmouthshire.gov.uk.
The panel coordinator will take the family enquiry and allocate a worker and an agreed a contact time. One of our experienced Family Support Workers will call the family back and offer a listening ear, support, advice or guidance. They are available for any involvement that may be appropriate via this route too as we link in with the Early Help coordinator.
