Prof. Tolga M. Duman (Fellow, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey, in 1993, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Northeastern University, Boston, MA, USA, in 1995 and 1998, respectively. He is currently a Professor with the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department, Bilkent University. Prior to joining Bilkent University in September 2012, he was a Professor with the School of ECEE, Arizona State University. His current research interests include systems, with particular focus on communication and signal processing, including wireless and mobile communications, coding/modulation, coding for wireless communications, and machine learning. He is an IEEE fellow, and a recipient of the National Science Foundation CAREER Award and the IEEE Third Millennium Medal. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Communications.
