Welcome to the Noble Knights' Quest for: Social Emotional Remote Learning, Resources for Emotional Health and much more

Hello everyone and welcome to the Pace Lower School Counselor Wellness Site: Noble Knights' Quest!

Message from the Counselor and symptoms to look out for

Hello everyone! I miss you to pieces! I am here to help! It is so important that right now we all take a pause! Do not feel that you need to continue going without missing a beat! We are in a world crisis that is historic. A parent shared with me today that the pollen levels are higher than they've ever been and she commented that she and her husband joke and say, "Hey Mother Nature, read the room!" That was classic! It's so important, now more than ever, that you set boundaries and truly "read the room" in your own households. If you have a child that is exhibiting these symptoms:

  • Excessive crying or irritation in younger children

  • Returning to behaviors they have outgrown (for example, toileting accidents or bedwetting)

  • Excessive worry or sadness

  • Unhealthy eating or sleeping habits

  • Irritability and “acting out” behaviors in all ages

  • Poor school performance or avoiding school

  • Difficulty with attention and concentration

  • Avoidance of activities enjoyed in the past

  • Unexplained headaches or body pain

  • Tired easily

  • Having meltdowns

  • Seeming scared

I would recommend reaching out to the Counselor.
