Sketching the initial shape of the bottle :
Using the sketch tool, one half of the bottle is sketched using sketch fillets for the corners to achieve a smooth curved sketch.
Using the revolve tool, the initial shape of the cylindrical bottle is modelled,
Using the shell hollow tool, the inside of the revolved bottle is hollowed,
Modelling the cap :
A new sketch is made on the front plane
The sketch is revolved to create the bottle cap
the edges of the caps are filleted
The top of the cap is separated as a new part using the split tool, as in the original water bottle the top section is made with wood.
Modelling the O-ring
A new sketch is made on the front plane, a half circle with a radius of 1.5mm
The sketch is revolved to create the o ring
Bottle Helix :
a helix plane is created relative to the radius of the o ring
The helix is drawn, using the helix tool on the plane created
Using the helix as an revolve axis, the thread is revolved using the revolve tool
The edge of the end of the thread is filleted
Another helix plane is created this time relative to the cap of the bottle
A circle is sketched for the helix tool
The helix is drawn
Using the helix, the neck thread is added onto the cap
Using the helix, the neck thread is revolved around the cap
The two ends of the thread are filleted
Modelling the handle :
On the front plane, the sketch of the side profile of the handle is made
A plane to sweep the sketch line is added perpendicular to the sketch
The circle is sketched onto the side of the cap to be selected to sweep
The circle is sweeped, following the sketch line of the handle
The sweep continues inside, where it is locked inside the cap
The handle of the bottle is complete
Adding the logo :
On the front plane, a new tangent plane relative to the cap's cylinder surface is made, and the earthwell font is written as a sketch
Using the sketch, the earthwell font is extruded to remove which leaves the engraving of the font onto the side surface of the cap
Similar to the cap, another tangent surface is added to the cylindrical surface of the main bottle body
The earthwell logo is traced onto the plane as a sketch
The earthwell logo is engraved using the extrude remove tool once again
The bottle now has the logo featured on its surface
The earthwell bottle is complete
