Character Notes

• Loves startling people by the docks when they're fishing so they'll drop their stuff

° She steals it after

° It's her main method of acquiring objects from the surface world

• Loves pulling pranks and will do it often (mostly to Human's and surface dwellers)

• Lives in an underwater cave beneath some coral

° She keeps her stash of stolen goods there

Overall Personality

Very playful and mischievous. She loves collecting things from the surface world so she will often go up there to play pranks on the Humans (their reactions are funny), and it makes them drop things into the ocean, so she is free to pick up those items and keep them.

More often than not, she will wait by piers and docks, hiding in the shadows before jumping out or splashing the people, startling them. Or she will wait by their fishing lines and tug on it before hooking it onto a rock or piece of coral to catch their attention. While they're distracted trying to reel it in, she will often take a few things from them.

She can be a nuisance to the Humans, but she doesn't understand it and doesn't think she's doing anything wrong. She never means any harm by it, but sometimes she just doesn't know when to quit.

She loves storms especially because it means more people will lose things to the ocean waves.

° She has to stay wet to keep her Human form

° Her hair is the last thing to dry, so the dampness/wetness of her hair is a good indicator of when she'll turn back into a Mermaid

° Being a mermaid she has no use for things like pants

° Will wear skirts and dresses though (items of clothing that fell down from the surface world)

° Wears mostly cropped tops

° Loves pearls, so will wear them often or stitch them into her clothing
