A 60-second kindness practice:
Take a slow breath in and say quietly:
“Just for today, I will be kind to myself and others.”
Then choose one easy act:
Offer kindness outward — hold a door, let someone speak without interruption, smile.
Or offer kindness inward — take a break, soften your tone with yourself, do something that brings your nervous system peace.
Kindness grows each time you choose it.
