I received my B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2010, 2012, and 2017, respectively. After graduation, I joined Kyoto University as a postdoctoral fellow in 2017. Since 2020, I worked with Professor Shin Ishii, and belonged to the Department of Systems Science as a program-specific assistant professor. From 2022, I have been working at Rakuten Institute of Technology, Vision Program, as a research scientist.

My research interests are 

• Computer vision and image processing

• Biomedical image analysis 

• Machine learning

• Robotics
