"Explore the cosmos, for there might be a compelling reason for its vastness."
I am a doctoral research student in the Planetary Science Group, Centre of Studies in Resources Engineering (CSRE), IIT Bombay. I am studying the impact of water ice and dry ice in Martian climate using modeling and data analysis under the guidance of Prof Deepak Singh. I have completed my Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Remote Sensing and GIS from the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), ISRO. Starting September 15, 2025, I am a Fulbright Visiting Doctoral Fellow at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
My primary research interests are Martian Cryosphere and its interaction with climate, fluvial geomorphology of Mars, and exploring other icy bodies in our solar system through remote sensing and modeling. Planetary science as a vast interdisciplinary field excites me enough to delve into the realms of the beauty of our cosmos!
Apart from academic research, I am interested in science communication and outreach. I am also a Board Member of the Board of Directors at OpenPlanetary. I love traveling, exploring new places, hiking, stargazing, and playing various outdoor sports.
My research specialty is the role of ice in the Martian climate, using remote sensing datasets and modeling techniques to examine the behavior of dry ice and water ice on Mars.
