Sessions & Focus is a browser extension that helps users save and restore tab sessions, and block selected websites during Focus Mode sessions.
This extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any user data. It has no backend server and does not communicate with any external service.
All data created by this extension — saved tab sessions (page titles and URLs), Focus Mode settings, and the list of blocked sites — is stored exclusively on your own device, using the browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to the developer or any third party.
tabs — used to read the titles and URLs of tabs open in the current window, so they can be saved as a named session and restored later.
storage — used to save sessions and settings locally on your device.
declarativeNetRequest — used to block or redirect navigation to websites you choose to add to your Focus Mode block list.
alarms — used to automatically end a Focus Mode session and remove site blocks once the timer runs out.
Optional host permission (requested per site) — requested only when you explicitly add a website to your block list, so that specific site can be blocked during Focus Mode. No permission is requested for any site you have not added yourself.
This extension does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind, and does not integrate with any third-party service.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
