This Privacy Policy applies to the PomoDone mobile application (Package Name: com.seezee.pomodone), developed and published by Seezee ("we", "us", or "our").
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how our application handles your information.
PomoDone is designed as an offline-first, privacy-focused productivity and Pomodoro focus timer tool.
We do not collect, sell, lease, rent, monetize, or transmit any of your personal data or focus records to external servers, third-party analytics providers, or cloud platforms. All information generated while using the application remains strictly on your local device.
Because PomoDone works entirely locally on your device, all data processed is stored strictly within your device's isolated local storage:
Task and Productivity Data: Task titles, priorities, estimated sessions, subtasks, notes, and completion statuses created by you are saved in an encrypted local database (Room SQLite) on your device.
Focus & Session History: Completed Pomodoro intervals, break sessions, session durations, daily streaks, and productivity heatmaps/charts are processed and stored solely on your device.
User Preferences: Local preferences such as timer intervals (focus duration, short break, long break), display name (if provided locally during onboarding), sound preferences, and notification styles are saved using local on-device Preferences.
We have no access to this data. If you uninstall the app or clear its application storage, this local data will be permanently removed from your device.
PomoDone requests only minimal, necessary Android system permissions to deliver core offline timer functionality:
android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+):
Purpose: To show alerts and local banner notifications when a Pomodoro focus sprint or break interval finishes, even when the app is in the background.
Data Handling: No notification data is sent to external servers.
android.permission.VIBRATE:
Purpose: To provide subtle haptic feedback when starting, pausing, resetting, or completing a timer session.
Data Handling: Hardware feature only; does not collect any data.
No Tracking or Advertising SDKs: PomoDone does not integrate third-party advertising networks (e.g., AdMob), marketing trackers, or behavior tracking SDKs.
No Cloud Account Requirement: You do not need to register, log in with social media, or create a remote account to access the app's full capabilities.
Local Storage Control: You have complete control over your data. You can edit, check off, or delete individual tasks, subtasks, and reset logs directly within the app settings.
Google Auto-Backup: If you have enabled Android System Cloud Backup on your device, Android OS may store an encrypted snapshot of your app settings and local database to your personal Google Drive account in accordance with Google's standard Android backup policy. We do not operate or manage this backup service.
Complete Deletion: Clearing app storage in your Android device settings or uninstalling the PomoDone application completely deletes all locally stored data.
PomoDone is a general-audience productivity tool. It does not solicit, target, or knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 where applicable by law). Because the app collects no personal identifiable data from any user, it is compliant with regulations including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time if new features or policy requirements arise. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
