砂浜を歩きながら貝殻を収集した自身の経験から、大地や星と漂着物との関係性をテーマに、以前銅版画の連作を発表しました。
それらの制作過程で生じる、試し刷りなどの断片的なイメージの破片を集めて継ぐことで、コラージュの作品が派生しました。それを下絵とした新作銅版画が、今作「星雲」です。塵やガスの集まりが雲のように見える天体を、そう呼ぶのだとか。
ここから生まれ、ここに戻る。またたく光と闇の世界です。

Based on my own experience of collecting seashells while walking on sandy beaches, I previously published a series of copperplate prints based on the theme of the relationship between the earth, stars, and debris.
Collage works were created by collecting and inheriting fragmentary images such as test prints that were generated during the production process. The new copperplate print using this as a sketch is "Nebula." This is the name given to celestial bodies that look like clouds of dust and gas.
I was born here and will return here. It is a world of twinkling light and darkness.
