お気に入りの缶から取り出した  

鉱物や化石、貝、珊瑚、鳥の羽、昆虫の抜け殻や標本などを並べて・・・。  

旅の思い出や、友達からのお土産、近所で拾った物、  

博物館や印象的な店での購入など、  

物と一緒に記憶を辿りながら、どれを描こうか選びました。

While taking out minerals, fossils, shells, coral, bird feathers, insect shells and specimens from my favorites can and arraging them, memories of my travels, souvenirs from friends, pick-ups in the neighborhood, and purchases from museums and impressive stores arose and inspired me of this work.

四角に収まらない、モチーフを印象付ける構図にしてみました。  

偶然出来る模様の版は、3回ほど描き直しては試し刷りを繰り返し、  

重ねる色も透明感とグラデーション効果が良く出るよう、  

わずかな差に悩み…  

もどかしくも楽しく実験と制作が出来たかと思います。

I tried to create a composition that doesn't fit into a square to give more impression of the motif.  

I redrawn the pattern that appeared by chance several times, and repeated trial printing until the overlapping colors had a good transparency and gradation effect.   

While worryied by the slight differences, I think I was able to have a frustrating yet fun experiment and production.
