1. Service Overview
Security Sweep ("the Platform"), crafted by atmapk, aims to streamline digital storage management through advanced engineering. This document details our data handling protocols. By utilizing our services, you consent to the terms outlined below.
2. Data Collection Categories
To deliver essential functions and refine performance, we may gather the following:
2.1 Hardware Specifications
Device Identification: Model number, manufacturer details, RAM capacity, and chipset details.
System Metrics: Operating system version, diagnostic codes, battery status, temperature thresholds, and error logs.
Connectivity Data: Network addresses (IPv4/IPv6), SIM card identifiers, carrier information, and connection protocols (e.g., LTE/Wi-Fi).
2.2 User Interaction Patterns
Feature Utilization: Activation rates for functions like memory defragmentation or duplicate file detection.
Behavioral Insights: Navigation paths, session durations, and system response times.
2.3 Application Permissions
Limited App Access: Read-only metadata (package identifiers and software versions) for optimizing storage allocation and notification handling.
2.4 User-Generated Inputs
Support Interactions: Technical inquiries, bug reports, or enhancement suggestions submitted via helpdesk channels or community boards.
3. Data Utilization Objectives
Collected information serves the following purposes:
Infrastructure Integrity: Monitoring system health and preventing service interruptions.
AI Model Development: Enhancing predictive algorithms for automated maintenance schedules.
Threat Detection: Identifying anomalies to safeguard against unauthorized access or data breaches.
Strategic Insights: Aggregated, non-identifiable data for operational analytics.
4. Third-Party Collaboration
4.1 Accredited Partnerships
Secure Hosting: Encrypted storage on SOC 2-compliant cloud platforms.
Analytics Providers: De-identified usage patterns shared with tools like Mixpanel or Amplitude.
4.2 Regulatory Compliance
Legal Obligations: Disclosure as mandated by judicial orders or regulatory inquiries.
4.3 Trustlook SDK (Antivirus Scanning)
Our virus scanning feature is powered by Trustlook Inc. (San Jose, California, USA), a mobile security provider whose cloud antivirus engine we rely on to detect malware, ransomware, and potentially harmful applications. When you run a scan, the Trustlook SDK processes read-only application metadata — package name, application version, MD5 hash, and package signature/certificate information — and transmits it over an encrypted connection to Trustlook's scanning service for analysis; the scan result is then returned to your device. In accordance with Trustlook's published policy, this SDK does not collect any personal information (such as name, username, password, e-mail address, physical address, telephone number, contacts, text messages, fingerprints, photos, or videos) or any device information (such as device name, manufacturer, model, OS version, or device ID), and it never reads or uploads the contents of your personal files. Such data is used solely for malware detection and for improving detection accuracy; it is not used for advertising or user profiling, and is not sold or disclosed to third parties except as required by law. If you prefer that no application metadata be submitted for cloud analysis, you may simply refrain from using the virus scanning feature, and all other functions of Security Sweep will remain fully available. For details on Trustlook's data handling practices, please review their privacy policy at: https://www.trustlook.com/privacy-policy
5. Security Measures
Encryption Protocols: TLS 1.3 for data in transit; AES-256 for at-rest storage.
Access Controls: Role-based permissions with multi-factor authentication.
Audit Protocols: Bi-annual penetration tests and ISO 27001 compliance reviews.
6. User Empowerment
You retain the right to:
Data Export: Retrieve usage statistics in structured formats (XML/JSON).
Preference Adjustments: Disable non-critical tracking (may affect personalized features).
Account Closure: Initiate permanent data removal under applicable data protection laws.
7. Minor Protection
Age Restriction: Prohibits use by individuals under 14. Accidental collection of underage data triggers immediate deletion within 48 hours per COPPA guidelines.
8. Policy Modifications
Significant updates will be communicated via in-app notifications or email alerts. Archived versions remain accessible [here].
