Neil appears to be the more energetic and competitive of the two, while Ella seems to be calmer and open-minded. He's very big on leveling up, and like his friend and rival Buzz, hopes one day hopes to become an ultimate golfer. However, he can sometimes be lazy and a bit too reckless. and Ella is one of the main characters in Mario Golf: Advance Tour.
