I am professor in the Department of Philosophy at Clermont Auvergne University and member of the research center Philosophies et Rationalités. 

My main areas of research are currently: 

1) History of analytic philosophy (especially its reception in various cultural areas and its connection with other traditions)  

2) Philosophy of mathematics and logic (in relation to the history of philosophy and the history of mathematics) 

I am also interested in philosophy of language (especially externalism and its possible uses in the philosophy of history and the humanities).

Since 2025, I am a senior member of the Institut Universitaire de France and a member of the International Institute of Philosophy.
