My name is Sebastian Martinez-Lizana and I'm an electrical engineer from Concepcion, Chile. I'm currently pursuing my Ph.D. in electrical engineering: power systems at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA.
I previously worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Biobio, the University of Santa Maria, Campus Concepcion, and the Catholic University of the Most Holy Conception. I have taught mainly power system courses for the Electrical Engineering major.
Also, from 2016 to 2021, I worked as an Electrical Engineer at the Technological Research Institute of the University of Concepcion, in the Powersoft Consultancy Firm, and also as an independent consultant.
I received my B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Concepcion, Chile in 2017 and 2019 respectively. My area of specialization is power systems.
My research interests include:
Simulation and analysis of power systems.
Power system operation, control, and stability.
High voltage transmission systems.
