I am a Senior Economist with the OECD Jobs and Income Division and a Research Fellow at the IZA Institute for the Study of Labor

At the OECD, I work on various topics in labour market and social protection, with a particular focus on inequalities and social mobility (for an overview, see here or my profile on Google Scholar).

I hold a DPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford. Before joining the OECD in 2013, I worked as a Departmental Teaching Associate at the Department of Economics of the University of Oxford, as a short-time consultant for the World Bank and as a part-time researcher with Statistics Norway.

You can find my CV here. I have a profile on LinkedIn and occasionally tweet under @sebkoenigs.bsky.social
