I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. I obtained my Ph.D. in Economics from Uppsala University in 2021. My research focuses on how political forces can undermine economic performance and how domestic reforms and economic integration may address these distortions. By combining insights from political economy, development, and trade, I seek to explain how societies can build more inclusive and capable states to improve development outcomes.
Fields: Development Economics, Political Economy, Applied Econometrics.
