Hosted at the Australian International School, Singapore

Welcome from Head of School

I write to welcome all of you as SEASAC member schools to the Australian International School and indeed to the city of Singapore. For those of you who are enjoying Singapore for the first time, I am sure that you will find Singapore hospitality and AIS hospitality to be conducive to enjoying your stay.

SEASAC was formed in 1996 and it has been a great privilege for AIS to have recently joined the organization and indeed host this, our first event with SEASAC. We are also very proud of our sports facilities at AIS and I hope that you will enjoy them and that they will enable you to participate to the best of your ability.

More importantly I hope that you will simply enjoy the participation. Through this event you will make some good friends, some lasting friendships, and no doubt re-new some old acquaintances. The success of SEASAC is built around these very opportunities.

I would also like to thank our AIS Athletics Director Mr. Justin Teves and his team of many helpers for their meticulous planning.

The SEASAC competitions over the years have always provided excellent spirit. So once again we look forward to spirited competition, to sportsmanship, to commitment and to the challenge of the game.

Good luck to you all for a happy and successful tournament.

Simon Leslie,

Head of School
