$751.40 Canadian Dollar.
566 Euro.
478 British Pound.
720 usa Dollar.
734,55 Australian Dollar.
for 3 x 10 ml vials...
270mg THC + 250 mg CBD
33 days / 8 sprays/ day.
This came from a patient on sativex in British Columbia, Canada; I blog publicly to help bring awareness to the medicinal value of cannabis and other alternative cancer treatments so feel free to link or mention me by name. I think I will only be using the Sativex this one time since it is very hard for me spend that kind of money on such a small amount of medicine even if the money comes from charity, it's a principal thing. Anyway, here in Canada Sativex (Nabiximols) is sold in boxes containing 3 x 10 mL vials.
Each vial contains 270mg of THC and 250 mg of CBD. I think this is the maximum dosage prescribed with is 8 sprays per day for 33 days supply. It does burn your mouth and makes your throat sore. It wouldn't be possible to take enoughmedicine by this method to cure anything, likely why those MS patients who get it for free in the UK have been on it for so long, it's enough medicine to stop the progress of MS but surely not enough to cure a cold which is just what they want, manage illness and cure nothing. If you weren't a medical user of cannabis you would probably get high but alas I did not :-( Sativex really isn't a lot different from a tincture I recently got from the Dispensary in Vancouver that used grain alcohol...that cost $32 and would last far longer I'll bet. I believe prescribing Sativex for anything other than MS is considered prescribing off-label in Canada. As for efficacy, I really couldn't say. I noticed nothing but am currently working to cure my body of cancer using cannabis oil, food, and supplements. Hope that helps.
Myself witnessed the earlier version of sativex in 1993 while i worked as medical ssistent in the dutch army. Tested by university hospital in Amsterdam, One of my docters had on bottle. After this moment in time i lost track of it. Untill my diagnose in 2004 i still did not know of the new sativex. Untill in 2009 i came on article about BEdroan the ducth medical cannabis approved by government. This company and its researches done by Heerdik and Hazekamp are used to get apporoval from governments and for patents. Also agreements are made with local authorities to close illegal operations. This all with the mask; ,, to get more patients " After research myself on this process and company one thing was clear. This dutch firm presents every year the same revenue, amount of patients and same amount of cannabis, hundreds of kilo's, send to other countries. One patient uses 255 gram per year acc. to Hazekamp. You could talk about 1500 patients in europe. Acc to my theory there must be a 2 to 5 % on the web blogging about it. Like me. Here we started to look for them with help from european friends. We could not find any, besides some loose stories. So if the researches of Bedrocan / Hazekamp are based on ghosts, the rest is also. Find the patients to proof i am wrong or right. Well, we all know now..
Source ; wikipedia: Nabiximols is a patented cannabinoid oromucosal mouth spray developed by the UK company GW Pharmaceuticals for multiple sclerosis patients, who can use it to alleviate neuropathic pain, spasticity, overactive bladder, and other symptoms. The prescription drug Sativex, an extract of cannabis administered as a sublingual spray, has been approved in Canada for the adjunctive treatment (use alongside other medicines) of both multiple sclerosis and cancer related pain.[122][123] Sativex has also been approved in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and the Czech Republic, and is expected to gain approval in other European countries.[124][125][126]William Notcutt is one of the chief researchers that has developed Sativex, and he has been working with GW and founder Geoffrey Guy since the company's inception in 1998. Notcutt states that the use of MS as the disease to study "had everything to do with politics".
