ingredients
175 g butter
25 g of margarine
225 g flour
125g caster sugar lumps without
16 balls stem ginger, cut into thin strips
1 tablespoon milk

Some recipes i do less butter and take a part dairy butter instead. Always use less sugar . Cut the butter and margarine into small pieces, add the flour, sugar, a pinch of salt and ginger and knead by hand until a dough. The dough should form a ball that is released from the bowl. Put the dough in a baking butter cake of 24 cm and press the dough firmly. The cake shape does not need to be lubricated, because the dough holds enough butter. Brush the top with milk and spread the dough is smooth. Pull a knife with a diamond pattern on the dough. Prick the dough with a fork here and there in the air to escape during baking and a fine structure. Place the pan on the rack in the middle of the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden.
Since the 1950s, oil and butter companies have been lobbing or manipulating what is the best or healthiest. It should be noted that people are not identical to each other. This is the result. My idea, it is better to eat plain butter or butter cake than something with 20, 30 substances added.
