Dear Parents, Caregivers, and Grads,

As we delve deeper into the preparations for our upcoming Dry Grad celebration, we are excited to share some important updates with you. First and foremost, we would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to all who have helped to make the Dry Grad celebration a reality for our children. Whether it be by offering your time or by making a financial contribution, you have played a vital role in helping us raise the funds we need to host a successful event. 

A big thank you to the Pub Night committee and everyone who volunteered to help make this event a huge success, and special shout out to grads Victoria Liu and Fiona Yin who raised over $650 by hosting their own fundraising events. The excitement for Dry Grad is palpable as close to 200 tickets have already been sold to date.

Thanks to all these efforts, we have made significant progress towards achieving our fundraising goals. However, as we inch closer to our celebration date, we find ourselves with a remaining financial gap of $12,000 that needs to be filled to ensure the success of our event. While this may seem like a daunting figure, we are confident that with the support and generosity from more members of our parent/caregiver community, we can rise to this challenge together. 

Please Don't Delay! Help Us Close the $12K Fundraising Gap. Here's How:

✔︎ Fundraising Committee:  We desperately need volunteers to join our fundraising committee to help reach out to local businesses and community members to request financial donations. Please email seaquamdrygrad2024@gmail.com for more info or to join our fundraising team.

✔︎ Family Contribution Fund:  We recognize that not everyone has the time available to help with fundraising. If you are unable to join our fundraising committee, we kindly request a contribution of $100 per family in lieu of your time. Please send your e-transfer to seaquamdrygrad2024@gmail.com. Include in comments "Dry Grad Contribution" + Grad's Full Name + Contact Email".

✔︎ Business Sponsorship:  If you're a business owner or have connections with potential sponsors, please consider donating to our event. All business sponsors will be recognized in our event promotions, signage, newsletter, social media, and website - helping you reach a wide audience of parents, students, and community members. Additional benefits are available for businesses that donate over $500. For more info, please email seaquamdrygrad2024@gmail.com.

As a reminder, Dry Grad is a 100% parent-sponsored event and depends entirely on the active participation and commitment from our entire Grade 12 parent/caregiver community to ensure the success of this event. Whether through financial contributions, business sponsorships, or your time to help us with our fundraising initiatives, your support brings us closer to our goal. Additionally, please be sure to support our upcoming Hanging Basket Sale and Car Wash & Bottle Drive (see details below), and spread the word within our community and beyond to help make these events a BIG success.
