ABOUT ME
I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Nevada, Reno. I am currently the visiting scholar at the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board. Prior to working at UNR, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Real Estate at the Penn State's Smeal College of Business from 2019-2020, a financial economist for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Economic and Risk Analysis (DERA) from 2012 to 2015, and an associate at Cornerstone Research from 2015 to 2019. I received a PhD from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley in 2012 and a B.A. in Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics from UC Berkeley in 2005.
Additionally, I am a certified yoga teacher.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research generally focuses on the areas of real estate, municipal finance, and Blockchain\ Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). In all of these areas, my focus is on how information affects markets.
