Sean O’Grady, MD is a proud advocate for health charities that make a difference in the world. Over the years, he has supported Alliance for Smiles (AfS), a volunteer-based organization. Alliance for Smiles provides children in need with cleft lip and palate corrective surgery and treatment. Founded by members of the Rotary Club of San Francisco nearly two decades ago, AfS is a nonprofit with an international reach. Surgeries and treatment are performed voluntarily by generous professionals from around the world. O’Grady, MD is proud of the incredible and life-saving efforts of his colleagues who actively contribute to Alliance for Smiles.
In Sean O’Grady, MD’s view, health and fitness programs are a valuable asset in today’s public schools. Following that notion, Project Fit America is a nonprofit dedicated to encouraging school children to be active -- both in and outside of school. For more than three decades, Project Fit America has developed innovative health and fitness programs that keep elementary and middle school children entertained. The overall goal of the project is to facilitate a lifelong love of health and fitness. Sean O’Grady, MD strongly believes in the work of this initiative and looks forward to contributing directly to the organization in the near future.
Although General Motors ceased production of Oldsmobile automobiles in 2004, the culture continues on. With vehicles in production for over 120 years, Oldsmobile cars are an impressive note of American automobile history! In fact, the manufacturer made its mark on not only American automobile history, but car culture of the world. At the time of its shut down, Oldsmobile was the oldest surviving American automobile manufacturer and one of the oldest in the whole world. These vehicles continue to maintain a special place in O’Grady’s heart and he is always on the lookout for car shows and events that feature Oldsmobiles.
