For too long, our local government has drifted away from the people it serves. Decisions are made behind closed doors. Ethics oversight reports to the very officials it’s supposed to hold accountable. And our local economy depends on outside systems instead of empowering our own growers, builders, and makers.
I’m running for Charter Reviewer Commissioner to bring that power back home.
I’m building a County Initiative Tracker a public website where every resident can:
View all local initiatives and ordinances in progress.
See which ones you’ve signed and how close they are to qualifying.
Track progress in real time with live signature counts and status updates.
No more hidden agendas. Every initiative, every signature, every step visible to the people who make this county run.
“See it. Sign it. Track it.”
We can build our own resilience by supporting what we grow, make, and trade right here in the county. My Self Growth and Local Trade Initiative will:
Connect local farmers, gardeners, and makers into a county-wide exchange network.
Create a system of credits or local tokens redeemable only within the community.
Host local trade fairs and digital directories so residents can find and exchange goods easily.
This isn’t just economics, it’s independence. When we trade with each other, we strengthen our land, our families, and our freedom.
“Grow local. Trade local. Thrive local.”
Right now, the County Ethics Commissioner reports to the County Manager and Council, the same people they’re supposed to monitor.
My Ethics Independence Act will:
Make the Ethics Commissioner accountable to a citizen oversight board, not politicians.
Require quarterly public ethics reports.
Guarantee that investigations are independent, transparent, and unafraid.
We deserve a system where no one is above accountability, not even those who write the rules.
A transparent county.
A self-reliant economy.
A government that answers to the people; not to itself.
This is how we rebuild trust.
This is how we restore sovereignty at the local level.
This is how we begin again, together.
