This policy describes how SE8UENCE (“the app”) handles information. The publisher of the app on Google Play is the controller. We keep collection small on purpose.
Who is responsible
The developer who publishes SE8UENCE on Google Play is responsible for this policy. Contact us through the Play Store listing for the app. There is no account system and no customer login. Package name: com.se8uence.app.
What stays on your device
Scores, Daily 8 streak, Solo medals, player names, language, sound, and ad-consent choice are stored only on this device. We do not sync that save to a SE8UENCE account. Uninstalling the app, or Reset local data in Settings, deletes it from the device.
Idea box
The idea box is optional. If you send an idea, we store the text and the time it arrived — not your name, email, or Google account. Ideas are used only to plan categories, topics and modes. Do not put personal data in an idea.
Ads
Ads appear only after a finished round, never while you place a card. When Google AdMob is enabled in the Play Store build, Google may process a device advertising ID, coarse location, IP address and interaction data to show ads. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland you get Google’s UMP consent form. You can also limit ads in Settings. Google’s own policies apply to AdMob: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Google Play
Installing from Google Play is handled by Google. Play may collect install, crash and device data under Google’s terms. That is Google’s processing, not a SE8UENCE profile.
Sharing a result
A Daily 8 share card is drawn on your device. If you share it, you use your phone’s share sheet. SE8UENCE does not upload the card to our server.
Online play
Online 1v1 is switched off in this version. This build does not start a match with another player or share a network address for play.
What we do not collect
We do not require an email, phone number or account. We do not sell personal data. We do not use the idea box to identify you. We do not show ads during play.
Children
SE8UENCE is a general-audience puzzle game. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child sent personal data in an idea, contact us via the Play listing and we will delete it.
How long we keep data
On-device save data stays until you clear it or uninstall. Anonymous ideas are kept only as long as they are useful for making the game. Ad data is retained by Google according to their policy.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland you can access, correct or delete personal data we hold, object to or restrict processing, and complain to your data authority (in the Netherlands: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Because most play data never leaves the phone, deletion on-device is Reset local data. For an idea you sent, contact us via the Play listing.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we update the date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the new text.
