Welcome

I'm a researcher at the Danish central bank and work on topics in macroeconomics, labor economics, and search theory.  You can reach me via email at my gmail.com account: s.darougheh.

My research relies on clear micro foundations to build macroeconomic models that are connected to empirical estimates from micro-data.

In "Occupation-industry mismatch in the cross-section and the aggregate", I categorize occupations by their degree of industry specialization. I show that this characterization explains differential unemployment responses by occupation in the Great Recession, and relate it to aggregate unemployment fluctuations.
