SD61 Tool Trolley Project

The SD61 Elementary Tool Trolley project is intended to offer students an opportunity to learn valuable skills that introduce them to careers in the skilled trades, fine arts and entrepreneurship pathways. Projects allow for diverse learners to find success and build confidence while doing hands-on activities.

SD61 Pathways and Partnerships funds this project in collaboration and sponsorship from the BC Construction Foundation, Skilled Trades BC, KMS Tools, and Maketa Canada

Students start making assumptions about their suitability to a job as early as age 5, so it is important to weave career exploration into your everyday practice.

Share videos with your students of people doing different jobs, because we know that kids can't be, what they can't see! Bring guest speakers into your classroom to enrich students' experience.
