Local OCR & Text Extraction: All screenshot scanning, OCR text recognition, image categorization, and search index creation are performed 100% locally on your device hardware.
Zero Server Uploads: Your screenshots, extracted text, personal messages, receipts, and photos are never uploaded, backed up, or transmitted to external servers or cloud databases.
Private Screenshots: Locked screenshots protected by your PIN are encrypted and stored solely on your local device.
2 Permissions Required
The application requests specific permissions strictly necessary to perform screenshot management, search, and cleanup functions:
Photos and Media Access (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, READ_MEDIA_IMAGES)
Purpose: Allows Screenshot Manager Text Finder to scan your image gallery, detect screenshots, perform optical character recognition (OCR) on text inside images, and organize them into categories.
Storage Management (WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE)
Purpose: Required to move unwanted, blurry, or duplicate screenshots to the 30-day recycle bin and permanently remove files when confirmed by the user.
Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS)
Purpose: Used to display background processing status when scanning new screenshots and notify you when automated cleanup or organization reports are ready.
3 Data Security
Because all data processing and storage occur entirely on your local device, your screenshots are protected by Android's native system security and application sandbox mechanisms.
4 Children's Privacy
Our application does not target or knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The app is completely safe for general audiences as no user data leaves the device.
