You Are Responsible To Dispose Of Waste As Follows:
Daytime Storage of Garbage: The plastic barrel is to keep bagged garbage in during the day. This does not include Food Waste.
Overnight Storage of Garbage: Garbage is to be secured in vehicles when away from the campsite and at night.
Compostable Food Waste can be put down the Kybo hole. This does not include bones, oils or grease. The food waste will aid in the composting of the human waste.
If bringing home for disposal then it is recommended to keep it in a well sealed plastic bag and it must be stored in vehicle at night.
NON-COMPOSTABLE FOOD WASTE
Non-Compostable Food Waste Food waste that does not easily compost such as bones is NOT to be put down the Kybo hole! This waste is to be bagged and brought home for disposal!
Oils and Grease Waste should be soaked up with paper towel or poured onto a pile of kindling in the fire pit and then burnt as soon as possible. Or put into a jar for later use or to bring home.
Dirty soapy hand wash water is to be thrown into the near by woods. Do not dispose of down the Kybo hole.
DO NOT DISCARD WITHIN 50 FEET OF THE SHORE LINE!
As the dish washing water will have food residue that can attract wildlife and bugs, provided it does NOT contain phosphates it is to be dumped down the Kybo hole. DO NOT DISCARD WITHIN 50 FEET OF THE SHORE LINE!
