SERVICE DAY

Scout Camp Otter Lake QC

6th Annual Fall Service Day

Saturday 26th October 2019

0930 to 1530

19 Chemin Scout, Otter Lake, QC J0X 2P0

The event will start on Saturday 26th October at 0930 with a general assembly/meeting in the field. Groups are responsible for their own breakfast and dinner, but the Camp Committee will be providing day-time snacks, drinks, as well as a lunch, e.g. something like hot dog & soup. The workday normally wraps up around 1530.

This weekend provides a great opportunity for Scouting groups and sections to spend a relatively relaxed and fun but productive weekend meeting other groups and youth, and to contribute to one of Voyageur Council’s jewels – Scout Camp Otter Lake QC. If you are coming to help with the Service Day Activities, you are invited to stay for the weekend.

Service Day Activities: Please check the camp’s website 'Service Day Activities' for details on what activities we will be doing

Accommodations: Please note that with the exception of paying for your firewood ($7.50/site/night), there is NO charge for camping this weekend. If staying over Groups and Individuals are responsible for providing their own accommodations and being self-contained.

    • Tenting: You will be able to set-up your camp site in the field area or at any of the 13 available camp sites. Loaner Tents: The camp does have a limited supply of tents available that can be used if you are short or in need of one. Please notify us soonest possible if you need one.
    • Campers/RVs: Please advise if you or anyone in your group will be bringing a camper/RV unit.
    • Richardson Cabin: Has been reserved for the Camp Committee and OOS.
