ScoreCam ("the app") is a padel match recording app for Android phones with an optional Wear OS companion. This policy describes what data the app accesses and how it is used.
No user account is required.
We do not operate servers that collect your personal data.
Video and audio are processed and stored on your device.
We do not sell your data.
Used only while you record a match, to capture video (and optional audio) with an on-screen scoreboard overlay.
Recorded videos are saved to your device gallery (folder: Movies/ScoreCam) via the Android media store. The app does not upload these files to our servers.
Names and match settings are kept in app memory during a session and may appear in the scoreboard overlay on your videos. They are not transmitted to us.
If you use a paired Wear OS watch, score updates are exchanged between the phone and watch using Google Play services on your devices. This communication stays between your devices and Google's wearable infrastructure; we do not receive it.
If you install the separate Garmin companion, scoring may sync via Garmin Connect on your phone. That flow is governed by Garmin's policies, not this app's backend (there is none).
The app may use the network for Wear OS / Google Play services and to open store links (e.g. install watch app). It does not send your recordings to us.
We do not share personal data with third parties for advertising or analytics. Standard platform providers (Google Play, Google Play services) process data according to their own policies when you use their features.
Videos remain on your device until you delete them. Uninstalling the app removes app-local data; gallery videos are not deleted automatically.
The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will change when we do.
