Vagus Nerve Stimulation
I incorporate techniques from Neuromeningeal Manipulation, Craniosacral Therapy and MPS therapy to stimulate the vagus nerve.
The Vagus nerve is the 10th cranial nerve and longest one in the body leaving the Medulla oblongata (brainstem) and moving through your body all the way down to your pelvis. This nerve transmits motor imformation from the brain to the organs and other body tissues to stimulation their function. This nerve also is responsible for 80% of our parasympathetic nervous system - that is the system that does rest and digestion. By stimulating the vagus nerve you can directly improve the bodys digestion therefor improving digestive issues, as well as improving the bodys ability to rest which in turn aids the bodys ability to heal.
Treatments take 60-90 minutes and may require multiple treatments depending on the reason for treatment. You will remain fully clothed for this treatment.
