The workshop aims to bring together local and international researchers working on theoretical, computational, and applied aspects of inverse problems in a friendly and celebratory atmosphere. The occasion will be especially meaningful, as the workshop will take place in the days following the conferral of an honorary doctorate on Gunther Uhlmann by Universidad de Chile, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to mathematics and his longstanding ties with the Chilean scientific community. More information about the ceremony here.
During the same week, the Universidad de Chile and the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile will also be hosting the conference Geometric Analysis by the Andes. Those interested can find more information on the conference website.
