Tobias Halthur, is the Chief Scientific Officer at the consulting CRO company CR Competence in Lund Sweden, as well as a adjugated researcher at the Biomedical Science, Faculty of Health and Society at Malmö University.

Tobias has a PhD in surface chemistry/physical chemistry from the Institutes of Surface Chemistry at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm Sweden, with extensive expertise and experience in surface adsorption, surface modification and analysis of surfaces with a special focus on proteins, surfactants, and polymers. These systems has been investigated using ellipsometry, Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) and QCM (Quartz Crystal Microbalance). His expertise has however through the years at CR, working in client projects in various fields understanding and improving formulations, expanded to also include molecular interactions in the bulk. Over the 15 years at CR Tobias has worked in approximately 200 projects for over 60 companies in 18 different countries! The topics for these projects have ranged from pharmaceutical formulations to cosmetics, personal care, and home care, as well as packaging, food, and medical devices.
