In particular, I have been always involved in construction materials formulation, characterization, by studying interactions with inorganic products (cement, filler, supplementary cementitious materials), and in the development of products and solutions for the building industry, with more than 70 products developed for different applications.

I am inventor of more than 30 patents, of which new cement-based material for Italian pavilion at the MILANO EXPO 2015, and author of several scientific papers. During my whole career I have managed many scientific cooperation with several Universities and Research Centres, and I have been in charge of the Scientific coordination of European project LIFE “Cement-based brake pads”.

I have been a member of Scientific Working Group on Construction Decarbonization (2023-2024) and Member of Technical Committee focused on Geopolymer Concrete (TC-GC) of the Asian Concrete Federation (ACF).
