Coccolithophore Algae is species of algae that is known to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in its environment. My research partner and I were aware of the blooming happening around the world that is causing a threat to ocean life. Inspired by this we decided to do our science fair project on the effect this type of algae had on its environment if we nourished the algae with iron.
